If you’re using the holidays as the time to take a vacation from your Isagenix® business then you may want to reconsider.
If you joined Isagenix to feel and look your best, create financial freedom for your family and help others to do the same, then your time has arrived.
The next few weeks are the most important time of the year for your Isagenix business. I invite you to take advantage of them. To get prepared, it’s simple. Ask yourself these important questions?
Do you want to have people approach you before you approach them?
Do you want to double the list of contacts in your address book?
You can accomplish all of these things with less “sell” than you’ve probably ever used before. Here’s how you can make it happen.
Realize the Potential. At this exact moment, a perfect storm is brewing. It’s raining prospects. You will be surrounded by people everywhere you go this holiday season. Most of them will be unhappy with their weight and worried about all the food they’re eating during the holidays. Plus many of them will make the resolution to shed some major pounds for the New Year, but unfortunately 90 percent will fail. You have the solution.
ACTION ITEM: Initiate a conversation without even saying a word.
Be the example. Use the products and you’ll look and feel your best. People will ask you what you’re doing.
Accept the Inevitable. People are losing their jobs, stressing out about how to afford holiday gifts and are having trouble making ends meet. The recession is like lightning. You hear it, you see it, but are unsure of where it will strike next. You can’t escape it, but you can choose not to let it stop you. You are creating your own economy with Isagenix and are in control of your financial destiny. Did you know there were more millionaires created during the Great Depression than any other time period in history? Even in the most challenging of times, you can prevail. Take advantage of the recession when people are more willing to listen to what you have to say.
ACTION ITEM: Ask people “is the recession affecting you?” Chances are it is and they’ll reciprocate the question. That’s when you lead with the income opportunity. Even if you’re uncomfortable leading with the business, this is a great time to try it. With the economy being so unstable, people are already talking about finances; you’re just contributing to the conversation. Did you know that 401(k) plans have decreased an average of 30% in value? Ask people “what is your back-up plan?”
Give the Gift That Keeps on Giving. Take advantage of the current promotions to save money and stock up on Isagenix products as gifts for other people. You can purchase them a $30 sweater they can wear for a couple seasons or give them a box of IsaDelight™ super chocolate that can help them feel better than they ever have before. Which would you choose?
ACTION ITEM: Giving them an Isagenix gift is an automatic conversation starter. You can’t hand them a box of chocolate without telling them what it is and how it helps your body. Also, people are more likely to accept a gift during the holidays without feeling any obligation. Let them try it on their terms.
Deal With Scrooge. You may likely run into people who say they’re too busy right now to look at Isagenix or don’t have the extra funds to commit to trying it. If so, don’t get discouraged. Be excited that you have planted the seed. Your follow up will be crucial.
ACTION ITEM: Send them a reminder note before the New Year so they can order a system before they make the resolution to lose weight or get in shape. Send an e-mail sharing that you’re celebrating that you lost five pounds during the holidays while others have gained. They’ll ask you how. Explain that you’re a coach and can help them accomplish their resolution to lose weight, get in shape or improve their finances while 90 percent of others will fail.
You already have all the tools you need to make it happen, you just need to change your messaging. Make it relevant to what is happening now during the holidays, New Year and the recession.
I’ve witnessed firsthand how changing your message can dramatically impact your business. Both times were at previous network marketing companies after September 11 and following the 1994 recession. Associates worried about what to say or if to even say anything at all. We changed our messaging to address what was happening at the time and found that people responded better to what we had to say. So much so that sales at both companies had hit all-time highs during the most unexpected of times.
So as I first suggested, if you’re not willing to build your business and share Isagenix over the next few weeks, then you may want to question your “why”. Did you join Isagenix to look and feel your best, create financial freedom for your family and help others to do the same? There are more people now than ever who need your help. So get out there and serve others. It will come back to you twofold. Happy holidays!
